Modern technological solutions capable of addressing the above are not even in the picture.

3S-Clean Vision
The company’s co-founder and Managing Director, Stan, moved to Germany in 2022. Like many newcomers, he had to fight for stability: changing his lifelong habits, building trust, making new connections, and becoming an active, contributing member of a new society.
What helped Stan stay grounded was something surprisingly simple: cleaning his own home. He enjoys the process — because it’s honest work, it shows results, and it restores control when everything else may feel uncertain. But to most people home cleaning is a black box: they do not have the time, do not know where to start, and are reluctant to hire help.
Being an avid fan of today’s technological advances, Stan wondered whether that was the missing piece of the puzzle that could help change the perception of hired home cleaning. That is how the idea of 3S-Clean — a transparent and fair home-cleaning service — was conceived.
What we want to fix
The visibility and accountability gap
Most clients have no idea what happens during a cleaning session unless they sit there and watch. We introduced video and photo documentation to solve the biggest problem in this industry: trust. A customer can review video clips assembled from timelapse photos to follow the cleaning process. German data protection law (the GDPR and the Federal Data Protection Act) does not permit continuous filming of employees at work, so we designed our timelapse format to respect that boundary while still serving its purpose: if something goes wrong, there will be evidence to see. At the same time our staff members are protected against possible accusations of wrongdoing. This is a win-win for all: no guessing, no awkward questions and conversations, no blind faith — just trustworthy documenting and reporting.
The pricing mess
Most cleaning service providers charge per hour, which sounds simple — but it actually isn’t. Customers often feel like they end up paying for time, not value. We moved away from vague time-based logic toward clearly defined work scopes: the larger the household, the more work it requires. The customer just needs to accurately input the data in the booking form and the final fixed price appears instantly, before the booking is even confirmed. What you see at booking is what you pay in the end. As we provide invoices for the services we perform, private households can save up to 20% of the labour costs — up to €4,000 total a year — from income tax under §35a EStG.
Unfair working conditions
It is an open secret that the vast majority of home cleaning in Germany — by some estimates around 90% — is arranged informally and paid cash in hand. Cleaners have no security. Odd cash jobs mean no pensions, no proper medical coverage, no stability. Homeowners think they save by paying in cash — but only until one day something goes horrifically wrong and no one is left accountable. We believe the existing status quo is plain wrong. This is not a working system — it is broken. Our model is built to support real employment, training, and long-term working dignity, because quality and fairness scale together, while minimizing uncertainty and risk for our customers.
